About us

From the Arctic to  Japan, and the  Tropics
― Exploring Atmospheric Diversity ―

We study climate at various scales, from global climate change to the formation and variability mechanisms of the Asian monsoon, as well as the urban heat island phenomenon and the mechanisms of heavy rainfall. Our research methods include field meteorological observations, data analysis of meteorological observation data and objective analysis data, as well as climate model simulations and satellite remote sensing to elucidate climate mechanisms. We are engaged in multifaceted climate research, including monitoring processes, human activity relationships, and future predictions.
