Presented at the Habitable Japan FY2024 General Meeting
The Habitable Japan FY2024 General Meeting was held at Niigata University from March 6 to 8, 2025. Habitable Japan is a research project under the Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A) of the JSPS KAKENHI that aims to answer the question, "Will mild climate and abundant water/fisheries resources persist as a basis of survival for those of us living in Japan in the future?" Asst. Prof. Hiroshi G. Takahashi is participating as a research collaborator in the monsoon group (A03-8: Predictability of extreme weather events in Japan under changing monsoon conditions) under the research area A03: Prediction and sustainability evaluation of mid-latitude atmosphere/ocean variability.
